Library

The library is all the project's media in one place: shot versions, character portraits and sheets, location views, props, canvas generations, previz and your uploads. Nothing needs to be saved manually — the library builds itself, and from it any file can go into a shot, an asset or a task.

How the library works#

  1. Left — the tree. Shots by season, episode and scene, uploads, previz, characters, locations, props, canvas and sketches.
  2. Top — the path and tools. The “All / Video / Frames / Audio” filter, search, Upload and the grid/list switch.
  3. Center — the folder contents. Files are grouped by meaning: portraits, reference versions, sheets, video versions.

01What goes into the library#

The library keeps no copies — it shows what is already in the project:

  • frames, video, sound and references of every shot, with all their versions;
  • character portraits, layouts, sheets, emotions and outfits, location views and variants, prop views and states;
  • finished canvas generations and uploads, saved sketches and previz;
  • files uploaded straight to the library.

A new generation appears in the library right away — nothing needs saving.

02Shot and asset folders#

A shot folder shows all its versions: the latest one with the video, first and last frame, then earlier versions, sound and references. The “Open” button next to the path opens the shot itself.

A character, location or prop folder groups its images: reference, character sheet, emotion sheet, scale and pose, portraits by view, sheet versions.

The switch in the top right shows the folder as a list — with each file’s type and date.

Search covers the whole project — not just names, but also shot prompts and asset and file names. The match is highlighted, and below each result you see where it was found: “Video prompt”, “Frame prompt”, “Name”.

04Preview and download#

Click a file to open the preview: path, date, size. The arrows page through the folder’s other files; “Copy” puts the image on the clipboard, “Download original” downloads the file in its source quality.

05Upload your own files#

Upload adds images, video and audio up to 50 MB; you can also drag files onto the page or paste them from the clipboard. They go to the “Uploads” section — there you can rename and delete them.

Tip

Deleting an upload does not touch the frames and assets this file is already assigned to — it stays there.

06Pick from the library in other sections#

The “Pick from library” button is on character, location and prop cards, in a shot, on the canvas and in tasks. It opens the same library in a window — right in the folder of the current shot or asset. Choose a file and assign it with the button at the bottom: for example, set it as the key frame or attach it as a reference.

Files of an unsuitable type are dimmed and labeled with the reason.

What’s next#

Use good frames from one shot as references for another — through “Pick from library” in the shot’s references section.
