Overview
Overview is the project's first screen: the last shot, fresh generations, the format and episode readiness, the team, the cover and all assets. It shows where the project stands, and any section is one click away.

How the overview works#
- Left — the project menu. “Overview” is the first item under “Workspace”.
- Top — the project and format. The name, “Project overview”, the frame format and the “Approve story” button.
- First row — where you left off. The last edited shot and recent generations.
- Second row — project status. Story and format with episode readiness, the team, the cover.
- Third row — assets. Cast, locations and props.
- Right — Project assistant. Knows the whole project and answers questions about it.
01Get back to work#
“Last edited shot” is the shot worked on most recently, with its episode number and description. Open shot opens it right away.
“Recent generations” lists images and videos from the canvas and shots: what it is, where it was made and who ran it. The strip scrolls sideways.
02Story and format#
The “Story & format” card collects the project’s passport and its readiness:
- Type, format, genre, tone, visual style — the pencil on the right leads to the story settings.
- Seasons · Episodes · Scenes · Shots — how many have been created.
- “Working episode” — a shared pointer for the team: which episode you are working on now. Personal episode choices on the Storyboard and other sections stay as they are.
- Readiness tiles — how many episodes are ready, scenes confirmed, shots with a Storyboard frame and with video.
03Approve the story#
The Approve story button in the header locks in the project’s original story. Along with it, the platform generates the project cover.
Once the story is approved, the button is disabled. Change the text in “Script” or the settings and the button becomes available again.
04Cover#
The cover is the project’s image in the project list. Upload your own with the button in the corner or regenerate it; below it is the model that made it. Watch assembly opens the latest cut of the episode.
05Team#
The “Team” card shows members by role: author, producer, director, contributors, company owners. Open team leads to the “Team” section, where you invite members and change roles.
06Project assets#
The bottom row shows all characters, locations and props with thumbnails. The “Characters”, “Locations” and “Props” links in the card corners lead to their sections; “No photo” means the asset has no image yet.
While there are no assets, the cards show “Extract characters from story” and “Extract locations from story” — they hand the task to the project assistant.
07Ask the project assistant#
What is left before the first episode is done?
The assistant sees the whole project — script, episodes, shots and assets — and helps you get your bearings: what is done, what is missing, where to go next.
What’s next#
Start with the section where the project is now: Script, Seasons & episodes, assets or Storyboard.
