Script
Script is the project's text foundation: the original story and episode scripts in an editor with pages, INT./EXT. scenes and drafts. The script assistant writes and edits the text as drafts, and the platform creates the episode's scenes from the scene headings.

How the Script section works#
- Left — the project menu. “Script” sits in the “Workspace” group, after “Tasks”.
- Top — the episode. Title, season and number, time saved; the header has the “Original story or episode” picker.
- Left column — Scenes and Versions. Synopsis, the scene list by INT./EXT. headings, drafts and edit history.
- Center — the script page. Pages and Flow modes, dark or light paper, PDF and Save episode.
- Right — Script assistant. Writes and edits the text as drafts, creates characters and locations from the script.
01Original story and episodes#
A project has two levels of text:
| Text | Where it lives | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Original story | The “Original story” button in the section header | The whole idea: plot, characters, world. Every project agent reads it |
| Episode script | Episode card → editor | INT./EXT. scenes, action and dialogue. The episode’s scenes are built from the headings |
The section opens with a list: the season, its episodes and how many pages and minutes are written. Add episode adds a new episode; an episode with no text has Write script.
The original story appears when the project is created — from the idea and logline. The button opens it in a window; Edit lets you change it.
02Write in the editor#
A script is written in elements: Scene, Action, Character, Parenthetical, Dialogue, Transition. Enter moves to the next element, Tab changes the type. Formatting follows screenplay conventions and pages are counted automatically: the bottom of the column shows “3 1/8 pg · ≈ 3:08 / 2:30” — length and runtime target; as a rule of thumb, one page ≈ one minute.
Select a passage and a menu appears: the element type and two commands for the assistant.
- Ask assistant — the assistant answers about this passage;
- Make shots — the assistant breaks the passage into scenes and shots.
Light paper is easier to read and print — the switch is next to the modes; PDF exports the script as a file.
Edits are not saved automatically — click Save episode when you are done.
03Episode scenes#
The Scenes tab holds the synopsis and the scene list with length, runtime and page. The scene’s shot numbers appear to the right of the heading on the page: “1.1–1.5”.
Update episode scenes creates and updates project scenes from the INT./EXT. headings: title, text, duration, location and characters. Scenes without a heading are not deleted.
04Drafts and versions#
The assistant does not rewrite the text itself — it saves its answer as a draft. All drafts and the edit history are on the Versions tab. Compare a draft with the current text — Inline or Side by side — and apply it with Apply; the current text stays in the edit history.
To save your own draft, use the “Draft name” field and the Save button.
05Work with the script assistant#
Script assistant sees the open text, the original story and the character, location and prop catalogs. Above the input field are Extract from script suggestions for characters and for locations.
Find all characters and locations in the script and create them with profiles
What the script assistant can do:
- write and edit text as drafts — from the original story, with a set duration and number of scenes;
- answer about the text — summarize, find contradictions, point out what is missing;
- create characters, locations and props with profiles from the script. If a character is already in the catalog, the agent updates it instead of creating a duplicate;
- break the text into scenes and shots — for the open episode.
It does not generate media: portraits, location views and turnarounds are made by the assistants in the “Assets” sections.
Tip
How to write a script from scratch with a single task and edit it through drafts — see the “From fairy tale to film” guide.
06How agents use the script#
The original story goes into the context of every project agent, so they all know the plot:
- The characters, locations and props assistants create and extend assets from the script. If something is not in the text, they do not make it up.
- The project assistant creates shots from the script.
Agents hand tasks to each other#
The project assistant can hand a task to a specialist assistant — characters, locations, props or a specific shot. The task starts right away in that assistant’s chat, and your chat shows a badge with its name and status. Click the badge to open its chat.
What’s next#
Once scenes are created and characters and locations are extracted from the script, move on to their images — the “Characters”, “Locations” and “Props” guides.
